Senior Engineering Manager

Target Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Engineering Manager at our offices in Minneapolis, MN. The Sr. Engineering Manager is responsible for leading software engineering efforts and leading cloud engineering efforts within a modern stack. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) developing RESTful API's and implement various applications using Groovy, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring IOC; (2) designing and developing Web Applications using Java technologies; (3) leading highly scalable and cloud agnostic architecture, design and implementation of software systems and business applications; (4) determining the right technology choices (upgrade decisions, hosting decision) to best deliver business value keeping in mind availability, scalability and reliability of solution; (5) driving resolution of technology roadblocks including code, infrastructure, build and deployment; (6) serving as a coach, working as a peer mentor, and fostering development and learning culture within team by encouraging continuous learning; and (7) working with the following tools and technologies: JSON, Groovy-Grails, Spring, Spring boot, Reactive Spring, Spring Web, Spring MVC, CSS, Velocity, AJAX, Spock, Wire mock, JMeter, open source application servers including Apache Tomcat and Agile Methodologies.
