The Merchandising Excellence Strategy and Operations Team is focused on the acceleration of Enterprise and Merchandising growth priorities as well as driving cross-functional connectivity across the organization. In 2021 and beyond we will accelerate work across the Enterprise and Merchandising organization by:
  • Connecting enterprise planning processes & functional strategies and priorities
  • Drawing connections to solve problems and accelerate progress that is most important to achieving enterprise goals
  • Developing activation frameworks that anchor to common measures of success and clarify roles & responsibilities to empower & enable the right functional owners and decision makers
  • Simplifying and streamlining communication and routines to gain alignment, minimize swirl and enable prioritization

As a Merchandising Excellence Lead Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping the organization achieve its goals. You will be a trusted advisor to the Merchandising, Capabilities and Strategy (MCS) Leadership Team, and your role will focus on drawing connections across both MCS and enterprise planning processes and routines, ensuring they build towards/upon one another to accelerate strategy and financials. While your projects will evolve based on the needs of the business, the work will be high scope and impact multiple teams across the enterprise. Key goals will include:
  • Activate strategic priorities across short and long-term time horizons
  • Create and lead cross-functional teams of peers and leaders
  • Establish and manage routines to drive accountability and action
  • Drive connections between MCS and Enterprise priorities
  • Create communication plan and tools to drive engagement and visibility to work
  • Build relationships with teams across the enterprise

About you:
  • 4-year college degree
  • 5+ Years of related experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Robust problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage a variety of project types
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to develop strong cross functional partnerships
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient to change
  • Change management experience preferred
