As a Lead Creative Strategist, Store Experience Marketing you will help bring Target's brand to life in the physical store environment, supporting seasonal moments and category needs. You will work with a dedicated team of creative directors, writers, and designers to translate creative strategy into impactful in-store marketing that resonates with our guests.

You will be responsible for designing creative briefs that transform marketing strategies into immersive experiences that help our guests connect more deeply with the brand. Your expertise in uncovering and providing unique and unexpected insights informed by guest, cultural and business research, will fuel big ideas and innovation. You will simplify complex problems into clear, actionable strategies while balancing business needs, brand ethos, and culture. You will inspire creativity, motivate behavior and guide the creative process to ensure all deliverables are grounded in the needs and wants of the guest. We'll support you along the way with robust onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a Lead Creative Strategist. About you:

  • Four year college degree or equivalent
  • 7-10 years experience in brand strategy, creative strategy, or marketing planning
  • Strong strategic thinker with experience synthesizing information to generate actionable insights
  • Ability to author clear, concise, and inspiring creative briefs
  • Experience applying creative strategy to physical spaces

  • Demonstrated systems thinking and design experience
  • Familiarity with design research or behavioral science principles
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate ambiguity
  • Experience working with teams to establish and/or reposition brands
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and negotiate across the organization to gain agreement.
  • Ability to facilitate and clarify project expectations, objectives and deliverables
  • Ability to direct multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
