About us:

Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America's leading retailers.

At Target, our leaders and team work across the globe to deliver an exceptional guest shopping experience anytime, and anywhere. The Flight Services Team is well known for its ability to ensure that our passengers arrive at their destinations safely and on-time.

As a Lead Specialist Flight Services, you will plan, schedule and coordinate all corporate aircraft requests. You'll leverage your strong analytical skills to work closely with each trip planner to ensure all needs of the trip are successfully met with safety being the top priority. You will also build the most cost-effective, holistic flight schedule possible by identifying all options and conducting cost analysis for all scenarios. Building trips includes analyzing all airports to ensure the minimum requirements detailed in the Flight Operations Manual are met. You'll partner with the Chief Pilot regarding potential issues such as airports not meeting minimum runway length criteria. You'll manage multiple tasks with effective organizational skills to determine the most efficient routing of aircraft and recommend the most efficient ground travel routes and drive times. You'll also order catering, arrange fuel, notify airports of all arrivals/departures, book ground transportation at all locations for passengers and crew, and provide trip planners and flight crews with finalized itineraries and trip sheets. You will communicate with all levels of the organization, quickly processing information during urgent situations that require immediate action. As assigned, you'll work directly with international handlers to plan and execute complex international trips, serve as a back-up to the crew schedulers to assign flight crews to trips, review and process all invoices for accuracy and submit to Indirect Accounts Payable for approval.
