Child Protection Worker
In this position, you’ll be helping children and families through the main functions of assessment and case management. Duties can include screening and accepting reports of child maltreatment or neglect, assessing risk, developing safety plans for children, engaging extended family/friends/community in helping to support to parents and children, and providing ongoing case management to monitor situations to protect children from further harm. Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
MQs: Requires equivalency of a bachelor's degree in a human services related field and three years of experience providing professional social work case management. Case management experience with children and families is highly desired. Expertise in serving underrepresented communities; specifically American Indian and Hispanic populations, and candidates who are bilingual, are preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license and provide a reliable means of transportation for the performance of work responsibilities.
Hiring Range: $68,239 to $85,298 - DOQ.
