About us:

Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America's leading retailers.

The Financial and Retail Services (FRS) organization is close to the action when it comes to communication-whether with guests or Target team members. From guest service professionals and product designers, to vendor managers and financial and workforce management analysts, FRS comprises several key and high-visibility areas that elevate and nurture Target's distinctive reputation. We cultivate loyalty and satisfaction through exceptional service and support. And we foster a culture of responsive, knowledgeable and committed service-from the inside out-through enterprise services our people can count on.

Team member-facing contact centers include the Client Support Center (CSC) for companywide level-one technical support, Facilities Management Operations Center (FMOC) which acts as the property management hub for our store locations, the Transportation Command Center, Delivery Services (TCC), which provides round-the-clock resolution of logistical issues and Travel Services, which manages all travel and expense-related work for the enterprise.

As a Home Based Sr Specialist, TMS FLOAT you will provide real-time float support for three teams within Team Member Services; CSC, FMOC and TCC from your home. Support will include day-to-day help and troubleshooting for all Target HQ, Store, and Distribution team members, vendors, and key partners through a variety of contact channels (phone and off phone).

You will provide information and resolution to Property Management Technicians and other Property Management partners and vendors related to specific operational processes that are integral to supporting Property Management assets at all Target locations. You will create service requests and dispatch vendors to resolve issues impacting stores. You will monitor alarm signals from connected assets and diagnose and react to provide appropriate resolution. You will work through escalated issues and take partners to determine options for resolution based on your findings.

You will support and resolve issues for Target merchandise vendors, internal store and distribution teams, and external carrier networks to successfully move merchandise in a timely manner. You will support the movement of goods from vendor locations, to internal supply chain nodes, to stores, and finally to guest delivery. You will execute an array of operational tasks to include freight routing and optimization, load research and delivery defect monitoring.

You will be responsible for seeking information to help you understand the reported issue and how the issue impacts the business so you can provide solutions and respond with the appropriate level of urgency. You will be responsible for providing a positive client experience through clear communication and ability to quickly troubleshoot and provide a solution that meets the client's needs. You will be responsible for providing outstanding service every day, while demonstrating care and empathy.

You will need to have experience navigating multiple systems, be able to identify process or procedure enhancements, and proactively educate clients on available self-help resources. You'll be expected to enhance your knowledge through ongoing trainings and business initiatives. You will personally contribute to team objectives and service levels, while meeting all productivity and quality performance standards, and looking for ways to improve client satisfaction. As you grow your knowledge, you will be expected to be a team player by sharing insights, acting as a technical and process resource for other team members, and assist with training, process improvement, and knowledge updates.
