• Promoting best practices across the entire company by developing deep knowledge and client relationships in each spend category
• Providing expert integrated business planning and stakeholder management for all indirect items and services
• Applying intelligent rate, demand and specification levers to source, negotiate and contract services while sustainably lowering costs
• Propelling the business with accurate and comprehensive demand forecasting, financial planning and item setup

As a Sr Analyst, you will conduct exploratory analysis by applying appropriate statistical methods to identify gaps and improvement opportunities in existing forecast/process design. You will also identify process improvement opportunities by applying appropriate optimization or other analytical methods, create metrics/KPIs/measurements, and reporting to support the indirect category teams key strategic initiatives as well as scalable analytics and reporting solutions in partnership with Data Science teams. It is important that this role communicates, collaborates and engages across the organization by representing Procurement initiatives and key enterprise initiatives. This role requires advanced proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling and optimization.

About you:

• Bachelors required with 4-6 years' experience in data analytics or reporting
• Relevant business knowledge, preferably in retail, logistics or warehouse
• Must possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to work with mathematical concepts
• Experience with statistical analysis, multi-variant testing strategies and concepts, regression modeling and forecasting, time series analysis, data mining, financial analysis, economic order quantity modeling, game theory and optimization
• Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to write and understand SQL (Hive, Teradata, etc.) and use SQL to bring insight to life via key BI tools
• Conversant with SAS, R, Python or other analytics tools
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of analytical and statistical techniques including model building and experimental design.
• Proven business partnership connecting business questions with technical skills needed to address them
