The Modernized Asset Management (MAM) team helps build technology to drive the lowest cost of ownership in the preventative and maintenance care of Target's $37 Billion worth of Store assets. The team serves the Target Properties product space supporting the stores and distribution center team members and other professionals in both headquarters and external vendor community.

We are looking for engineers to build innovative and well-designed software and also be a part of groundbreaking technological innovation, strategic thinking and visionary goals. As an Engineer in the MAM product team, you will:

• Be a significant code contributor, own and be accountable for your work, drive best practices and ensure the development of high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, testing and debugging at the application level.
• Be a great team player and be a thought partner to promote re-use and develop consistent, scalable patterns.
• Develop a working knowledge to account for maintainability, cost of ownership, mitigating and removing risks in deliverables.
• Ensure all code adheres to all development & security standards.
• Manage and support total product, take on rotating on-call responsibilities.

About you:

• 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of software development experience
• Demonstrates familiarity with current and emerging web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular 5 or newer, ReactJS and Redux (preferably ReactJS)
• Working knowledge with backend development using a JVM language (preferably Java) and RESTful API
• Working knowledge of test tools and technologies
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Constant learner with the ability to collaborate with global tech teams
