Working as part of the HR Operational Excellence team within HR Operational Services, your mission will be to represent, consult, and refine core HR operations to deliver greater efficiencies for HR strategies that impact the enterprise.

As a Sr. HR Process Business Partner, you will work with business partners across all functions of HR to evaluate and prioritize opportunities within core HR operations that enhance end user adoption, enable process optimization or mitigate compliance risk for Target. You will drive these internal and external opportunities by partnering with HR Technology teams to develop, test and implement process changes while supporting HR partner teams through change management across end user groups.

You have a passion for identifying pain points within a business process and driving continuous improvement to the enhance user experience or operational efficiency. You have a track record of enabling solutions for the workforce and HR partners that has been focused on simplicity, speed, and quality. You are a trusted partner that can understand business issues, influence and communicate across teams, and creatively problem solve to meet the needs of the business. Your robust project management experience focused on measurement of issue and solution, process development, control analysis, and change management will set you up for success on the team. You have a high level of initiative, are adaptable and resilient with change, able to prioritize competing priorities, and are committed to delivering strong results.

About you:
  • 4 Year degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of HR experience or equivalent within an operations team
  • Strong ability to identify, define and resolve ambiguous problems
  • Demonstrated experience improving the operations, including the use of technology to improve processes
  • Proven experience in building trust and collaborating with partners across functional groups
  • Demonstrated experience in navigating ambiguous situations, leading groups through change and being and advocate for others
  • Ability to manage, prioritize and adjust multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills
