As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take the lead as you manage technology projects directly related to Target's strategic priorities. See your efforts come to fruition in Target Stores, Distribution Centers, and Headquarters locations by assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews, and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. Use your strong analytical skills to ensure project delivery is on time and within budget while communicating milestones and risks to business partners and technology product owners.   • Develop and implement process improvements impacting the broader Distribution Center Rollout & Deployment Team including but not limited to

  • Act as Smartsheet Ambassador for the group, working to develop Smartsheet process that aligns to team best practices including project lists, scope tracking, issue log management
  • Primary team contact for Procurement and Consolidation project tracking and updates
  • Computer room (Smartrow) build process and tracking - responsible for working with partners to develop schedule and drive accountability across project team

  • Deliver TargetTech Infrastructure Hardware in support of Global Supply Chain & Logistics initiatives - scope identification and execution, adherence to schedule, within budget

  • Define scope and gather requirements

  • Draft ISOWs and work with partners on RFP events and vendor selection
  • Develop and submit budget to project teams
  • Hardware procurement
  • Communication Management:

  • Support 3rd party field installation vendor scheduling and completion status for hardware installations

  • Capture and distribute communications to the field vendors, store teams, and internal Target partners

  • Vendor Management - ability to coordinate vendor activities, provide direction, and escalate (issue mgmt)
  • SmartSheet: Maintain project dashboards and databases to ensure all partners are given the appropriate level of information on the cadence required
  • Manage project schedules including permitting, schedule changes and delays. Actively update associated smartsheets.
  • Collaborate with other Target Tech teams to manage project collisions

  • Intake, prioritize, and process project requests and urgent project specific activities with efficiency and accuracy
  • Receive and approve vendor invoices and change orders

About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Deep knowledge of project management tools, resource and financial best practices, and methodologies (e.g., waterfall and agile). Smartsheet used as primary project management tool.
  • Experience supporting technology in a retail environment, especially Distribution Centers
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to talk to people in person or on the phone for the majority of your day

  • Detail oriented; strong organizational and analytical skills
  • High degree of professionalism and high sensitivity for confidentiality
  • Works both independently and well within a collaborative project team
  • Ability to complete assignments accurately and on-time
  • Ability to follow documented and oral instructions and directions

  • Ability to learn and apply new knowledge and skills quickly
  • Ability to apply logical thinking to complete tasks without errors
