As a Data Analyst in AP Data Insights, you'll be responsible for reporting, analysis, and data for our Assets Protection organization that supports our HQ, Stores, Supply Chain and Investigations Center. In this role you'll learn, build and maintain an effective reporting/data ecosystem, analyze the results, and provide strategic recommendations. You'll use market-leading tools and data automation to make a positive impact that's felt across the business. You'll partner closely with our Product, TTS, data, and business partners to develop and maintain reporting and analytics offerings and democratize data and insights as you strive to deliver tools to your partners and enable them to make better decisions quicker.

  • Manage and monitor the reporting platforms supporting AP Stores, Field Leaders, Supply Chain, and Investigations Centers.
  • Learn domains and understanding of our AP business teams' needs, patterns, and feedback to deliver and maintain impactful data and reporting solutions.
  • Contribute during team routines with task progress updates, KPI updates, and active learning from AP data, business, and statistical analysts.
  • Learn and apply best practices for analysis, data visualization, and analytical story-telling using the data.
  • Measure success rate of how dashboard/analysis/insights are adapted into decision making, create feedback loops to enhance analysis
  • Understand and anticipate problems and move to solve them quickly.
  • Effectively communicate with and educate business partners on data insights and solutions.

About you:
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics or other related quantitative field
  • 2+ plus years of experience in developing BI solutions including: analysis, design, coding, testing, and report building
  • Understand the Product model and ability to work in and with Agile teams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive efforts from concept to implementation and influence across all levels of the organization
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical acumen
  • Superior communication, listening, and organizational skills
  • Inquisitive on Big Data technology - current on new ideas and tools utilized in BIA
  • Proven experience quickly adapting to changing priorities and tasks
  • Work in high-intensity situations with composure and ease
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and/or R preferred
