What you'll be doing:

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of designers, writers, researchers, engineers, product managers, accessibility consultants and data analysts
• Design flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity UI that leverages our robust design system to efficiently craft solutions that are consistent and effective across all surfaces
• Learn to leverage data and guest insights to inform design decisions
• Participate in guest research and learn to conduct your own with guidance from our research team
• Work with other teams across Target (creative, marketing, store operations) to ensure a cohesive guest journey through the digital to physical experience
• Leveling-up via mentorship, training and career development programs

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience with visual design, interaction design, research, information architecture or equivalent experience in a related field
• A portfolio showcasing a strong foundation in visual and interaction design
• Excellent written, verbal and team communication skills
• Experience with modern design tools like Figma, Sketch or Adobe xD
• An ability to articulate design decisions with grace, logic and data
• An ability to incorporate business & technical requirements when problem-solving
