Repairs and maintain extrusion/molding machinery and equipment such as mixers, blenders, coilers, vacuum pumps, pullers, laser systems and all other manufacturing equipment.
Understands the functions and knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulic systems where applicable, extruders, auxiliary equipment, conveyors, motors and pumps for cooling tower and chilled water systems, in addition functions of facility air compressors.
Observation of electrical and mechanical devices in operation, listen and trouble shoot to locate causes of trouble, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools and other related mechanical peripherals.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, utilizing the above aforementioned of department tools.
Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery and equipment. Install special functional and structural parts in devices.
Test devices for performance utilizing the above aforementioned tools.
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical systems.
Analyzes and resolves work related problems. The ability to assist other maintenance employees in resolving equipment problems utilizing proper tools and procedures.
Develop changes in working conditions, equipment/tools and production equipment to increase efficiencies, reduce of scrap, and unpredicted down time.
Work directly with immediate supervisor, engineering/lead to solve the most optimal customer solution.
Maintains high level of professionalism towards co-workers, customers, and leads/supervisor/manager.
Assist in creating and maintaining a preventive maintenance program.
Perform PMs on all required equipment/machinery with other team members.

Understand and repair safety controllers
Understand laser, vision and printing systems to diagnose and repair.
Extensive IT knowledge to include ProfiBus, IP, Modbus and network topology.
Troubleshoot and configure frequency drives
Read Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical prints
Repair or Install 120, 240,277,480 VAC single and three phase power
Repair and troubleshoot Automation
Fabricate and install secondary manufacturing equipment (tables/fixture/etc.)
