Description:

Entry-level Project Manager, in collaboration with a technology project execution team, you will learn all aspects required to deliver TargetTech Infrastructure Hardware in support of the Remodel Program - scope identification and execution, adherence to model schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Support Hardware Procurement:


  • Receive and process equipment orders


  • Coordinate equipment returns from store
  • Populate and update project documents
  • Coordinate equipment shipping updates


  • Communication Management:


  • Support 3rd party field installation vendor scheduling and completion status for hardware installations


  • Capture and distribute communications to the field vendors, store teams, and internal Target partners
  • Share responsibilities to monitor and manage team mailbox, accurately route communications, and maintain vendor distribution lists.


  • Project Administration: Other Admin and PM tasks as assigned


  • Support project team / project managers with other daily tasks as needed
  • SmartSheet:


  • Maintain project dashboards and databases to ensure all partners are given the appropriate level of information on the cadence required


  • Meeting Administrative Support


  • Agenda management
  • Facilitate Remodel team planning meetings


  • Collaborate with other Target Tech teams to manage project collisions


  • Intake, prioritize, and process project requests and urgent project specific activities with efficiency and accuracy
  • Update and manage project and Infrastructure Hardware Product documentation ensuring consistency across all Remodel projects (following Best Practices)
  • Work with team engineers to provide scope requirements for automated device validations (system tests) as needed and troubleshoot existing automations. Ensure all partners receive timely updates.
  • Manage project schedules including permitting, schedule changes and delays. Actively update associated smartsheets
  • Over time, assume individual project scope oversight with support of project team


Required skills and experience

  • Four year degree OR equivalent experience
  • Project Coordination or Project Management
  • Smartsheet - primary tool usage for project management
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Experience supporting technology in a retail environment


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Works both independently and well within a collaborative project team
  • Detail-oriented; strong organizational & analytical skills
  • High degree of professionalism and high sensitivity for confidentiality preferred
  • Vendor Management - ability to coordinate vendor activities, provide direction, and escalate (issue mgmt)


Other Tasks

  • Support project managers with daily tasks as needed
  • Take and distribute meeting notes
  • Schedule meetings, distribute agendas & minutes


  • Follow up on overdue risks, issues and action items.
  • Assist with project documentation, status reports and roadmap updates.
  • Ability to complete assignments accurately and on-time.
  • Ability to follow documented and oral instructions and directions.
  • Ability to learn and apply the new knowledge and skills quickly


  • Ability to apply logical thinking to complete the task without errors.
  • Ability to be productive and demonstrate willingness to perform general tasks
