Job Description Job Summary: Applies high guest service standards. Manages and confirms all guest reservations. Controls the flow and pace of the restaurant by managing the waitlist process. Directs restaurant patrons to their requested tables/locations. Provides information on restaurant to new patrons.
- Utilize the Open Table software to manage reservations. Call to confirm all guest reservations and to find out if guests are celebrating a special occasion or if they are a first time guest, etc.
- Control the flow and pace of the restaurant, ensuring reservation times are met. Manage waitlist and long lines during high volume times. Greet and direct guests to requested tables/locations. Ensure tables are seated with correct server, if requested. Manage server rotation for large parties.
- Interacts with guests by providing information on restaurants and specials and responding to guest inquiries.
- Update all guest information throughout each guest dining experience such as favorite wine, water flavor, server choice, table preference, etc.
- Rearrange table configurations to accommodate guest needs
- Occasional tasks
- Two years guest service experience within a restaurant setting.
- Ability to speak English clearly.
