Manager, Talent Partnerships and Influencer Marketing:

As talent partnerships and influencer marketing manager, you will be a part of our Creative Collaborations team where our role is to bring incremental value to - and reflect the values of our brand, business and guest by working with inspiring, inclusive and resonant partners. You will curate and nurture sustainable partnerships with emerging creators, social celebs and cultural leaders that are deeply human and authentically connected to target's business, brands and priorities. In this role, you will be responsible for what the talent strategy grounded in human and cultural truths for key brands and categories such as Home, Apparel & Accessories, Beauty, Black Beyond Measure, PRIDE and more. You will create clear, concise talent briefs for our partners that clearly identifies the marketing insights/objectives, audience, creative challenge, and job to be done. You build strong partnerships externally and internally and inspires a shared vision that is meaningful and accelerates brand love for target.

About you:
  • 6+ years of influencer, celebrity, communications, strategic partnerships, and/or social media experience. Retail/entertainment experience a plus.
  • Curiosity and drive to deeply understand guests needs, segmentation and the business and the ability to look beyond the data and tell a compelling story


  • Solid knowledge of creator community ranging from emerging creators to social celebs and cultural leaders.
  • Strategic thinker with experience synthesizing information to generate actionable ideas & sound talent strategy.
  • Adept at creative problem solving, extremely resourceful
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, project management and organizational skills to be proactive to the ever- changing needs of social and digital media; well versed in the dynamic digital landscape
  • Ability to curate talent grounded in human & cultural truths.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Curious and driven to deeply understand guest needs, segmentation and business.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrate an ability to work autonomously, taking the lead on projects and anticipating the needs of the team
