Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for being able to provide a high level of service to VIP guests
  • Responsible for the direct supervision of the VIP Host Team at Mystic Lake and Little Six including but not limited to training, evaluating, mentoring and disciplining
  • Manage Mystic Lake and Little Six VIP Host productivity through the development of criteria, monitoring and reporting on the tools provided to the VIP Host Team
  • Prepare and publish monthly work schedules and duties to meet business demands
  • Collaborate with Player Development Team and supporting departments to create and execute VIP events at Mystic Lake and Little Six
  • Identify new strategies in partnership with the Player Development Leader targeted at cultivating premium players with emphasis on developing relationships
  • Work directly with the Hotel to maximize hotel occupancy
  • Responsible for all aspects of payroll management for VIP Host hourly team members
  • Assist VIP Host Team in accommodating VIP guest requests
  • Establish standards and oversee execution of the Mystic Lake and Little Six VIP experience for high value guests, including the allocation of accommodations and offers at the correct reinvestment levels
  • Ensure that the VIP Host Team at Mystic Lake and Little Six is well informed of all special events and promotions
  • Ability to communicate to a diverse population.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of guest tracking or complimentary activities.
  • Excellent management and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in e-mail, word-processing, spreadsheets, presentation, database, and guest tracking software.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills.

 

Budget/Asset Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting with the creation and management of the Commercial Seat Block, Independent Representative Program, and VIP Host budgets and initiatives.

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the expectations of this job:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Combination of post-high school education in Marketing, Business, or related field and/or experience in player development or casino marketing/player development equal to five years.
  • Minimum of three years supervisory experience in casino/hotel, guest services, concierge, or host services in either a gaming and/or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to communicate to a diverse population.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of guest tracking or complimentary activities.
  • Excellent management and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in e-mail, word-processing, spreadsheets, presentation, database, and guest tracking software.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills.
