Prevention-Based Social Work Supervisor
In this position, you’ll provide direct oversight, administration, and supervision of child welfare prevention services, community engagement and outreach, and development of a comprehensive prevention-based service array with community-based providers. This also includes involvement in statewide and national forums focused Child Welfare System transformation and development of new policies and statutes. Position involves research, community engagement, public speaking, and policy development, overseeing of staff, the interpretation and implementation of Federal and State statutes and rules, and the development and oversight of prevention contracts along with quality assurance of service providers. Assumes responsibility in conjunction with the Child Welfare Manager for setting work standards and evaluating unit performance. Reviews the performance of the unit based on County, State, and Federal Standards and monitoring of unit activities towards achievement of the unit and agency service goals.
MQs: Requires equivalency of a master's degree (MSW preferred) in a Human Services related field and four years of experience in early intervention or prevention-based services. Supervisory experience is preferred. Preference given for experience in Child Welfare and/or Public Health. The incumbent shall provide a reliable means of transportation for the performance of work responsibilities.
Hiring Range: $79,634 to $119,451 - DOQ.
