Description:
Senior Consultant (Researcher), Executive Search
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on external market intelligence for Shipt and Target. Conduct thorough and regular research in order to regularly share insight on trends in the marketplace, industry information, competitor happenings, and leadership news.
  • Strategically develop target lists of companies and candidates through multiple channels such as cold calling, internet research, networking, databases and associations.
  • Provide detailed status reports on market intelligence, research and sourcing activities.
  • Participate in conversations around anticipated leadership openings. Provide consultation on compensation, organizational structure and position scope.
  • Collaborate with talent acquisition team members and business leaders to continually develop best-in-class end-to-end leadership recruitment processes and strategies
  • Participate in client intake meetings on new executive search assignments, asking questions and sharing perspectives to help shape recruitment strategies.
  • Prepare executive search documentation on recruitment strategies, client status memo's and end of search recaps
  • Assist in the writing of job specifications for each executive leadership search
  • Provide recommendations on sourcing tools and techniques that elevate TA
  • Mentor others in TA around research, sourcing and consultation

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of successful research experience in recruiting and/or another professional field
  • Proven expertise using the telephone & internet to acquire information not readily available.
  • Highly developed conceptual skills; able to synthesize information quickly; understands various industries and functions; and able to present material in an organized and clear manner
  • Excellent communication skills; speaking, writing and listening.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Superior attention to detail, with strong multi-tasking and organization skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, with proven ability to act swiftly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and processes
  • Ability to create and maintain strong partnerships
