WEB SCRUM LEAD

Position Description

This position is responsible to support current and future Web based applications. Collaborate with business subject matter experts and/or business analysts to gather business requirements to create functional specifications for development. Perform gap analysis and recommend potential solutions, fulfill the role of a subject matter expert in functional requirement elicitation, document functional requirements, create functional specifications and prepare wireframes/flowcharts as needed. Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports will also be responsibilities of this role. R esponsible for the scheduling and conducting of the Agile scrum meetings and ceremonies. Coordinate testing for SharePoint development and the monitoring of ITSM tickets, to include assisting in their research and closure as needed to maintain SLA.

• Document and report system and/or application issues to users and development staff in a timely manner, including all relevant information and an assessment of the priority level of an issue; documenting with problem log as necessary and ensuring logs are appropriately updated in a timely manner.

• Collaborate and align cross-functionally with the business to understand and influence business requirements while considering IT goals and objectives and new and emerging technologies.

• Serve as subject matter expert in business user story elicitation.

• Document functional requirements and create RTTM's for the business and developers.

• Assist in monitoring performance, discover variances, and propose necessary actions per requirements.

• Assist Product Owners with Product Backlog Management and user story development and prioritization.

• Plan and lead daily scrum stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint grooming and sprint review ceremonies.

• Provide transparent and consistent feedback to Scrum team members and post sprint updates to Product Owners for backlog refinement.

• Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports.

• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, functional requirements documentation, and presentations.

• Participate as a member of the Development Team

• Assist as needed with the handling of Service Now tickets for Web applications (including but not limited to SharePoint, HUB, Extranet, Member and Provider portals).

• Coordinate and assist as needed with planning and test validation as required.

• Perform weekend and evening support as needed and/or scheduled.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelors' degree in Computer Science preferred, demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

Five years' experience as a Business Systems/Technical or Functional Analyst. Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Knowledge of all phases of software development and a demonstrable track record of functional requirement writing.

Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methods.

Preferred Experience

Experience in health care or managed care programs. Two years working in Agile teams with experience in developing/updating Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and project documentation. Knowledge of ITSM, Claim processing, MACESS, SQL Developer, Postman, OKTA, IKA.
