JOIN US AS A TARGET FOUNDATION ASSOCIATE

As a Foundation Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the programmatic and operational activities of the Target Foundation. In this position, you will partner closely with the program staff to implement, execute and monitor their grantmaking strategies and provide support for all aspects of the grantmaking process including grantee relationship management. In addition, you will coordinate and assist with various operational, financial and communication activities in partnership with other key internal partners. Finally, you will help advance the broader efforts and goals of the Foundation team.

As a Target Foundation Associate, you'll take the lead as you:
  • Support Foundation Senior Managers in grant review, non-profit due diligence, partner agreements and system processing
  • Assist Foundation Senior Managers with monitoring and evaluation of learning plans and other KPIs
  • Assist in developing and curating content for the Trustees including official board meetings and other e-mail outreach as needed
  • Provide communication support of internal and external efforts including liaison to internal teams and content management
  • Manage Target Foundation inbox and respond to grant-related inquiries and issues
  • Assist in the coordination and completion of governance and compliance support and activities
  • Arrange partner meetings, calls and site visits in partnership with Foundation team
  • Manage and execute various timing and action
  • Additional program support as needed


About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of non-profit or general business experience
  • Self-starter, resourceful, and a team player with proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated organizational, planning, project management and time management skills; attention to detail a must
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work across various corporate, non-profit and public audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • ·Demonstrated ability to work with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with database programs and applications
  • Strong cultural competence
  • Knowledge of grantmaking preferred
  • Fluent in Spanish is required
