SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

Work Location: In the office, work-at-home or hybrid (in the office 3 or more days per week)

Position Description

This position is responsible to ensure financial and operational reporting and measurement controls and processes are effective and operating as designed for all activities reported within the Company's Department's control and ownership. Identify and Implement improvements with partnership from Accounting Department and individual department's leadership. Create and manage a monthly department rolling forecast process. Support ad hoc projects as defined by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Controller, and Assistant Controller.

• Support the financial inputs needed for a Company Project impacting applicable department(s). Assist Project Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) and/or project managers, and business owner(s) on decisions related to approved projects. This role will be a key consultative finance partner in identification of operational metrics both for projects, as well as, for core operational tasks and processes owned by individual departments. This role will own ensuring the actual financial metrics can be measured against expected outcomes. This will be accomplished by working collaboratively with various key stakeholders and leveraging data housed in various systems.

• Collaborate with department owner(s) and identified subject matter experts to accumulate and report on the measurable financial cost/benefit analysis of completed projects coming from the Company's Project Portfolio which impact department(s)'s run the business operations. Partnering with Controllership Project Manager and Sr Financial Analyst who owns the input into the Company's project Portfolio from ideation through implementation.

• Development of the annual budgets, including development of the detail department administrative expense budgets. Develop supporting analyses for budget information in support of the final budget presentations which go to the Board of Directors.

• Annual development of administrative pricing rates by product for use in CMS/DHS/Exchange bid proposals. Ensure methodologies used in rate development are sound and meet all federal and state statute guidelines.

• Collaborate with Account Payable to ensure costs and related purchase orders are set up timely, accurately, and at the appropriate level of detail.

• Review month end project activity against general ledger invoices paid and assist controllership function with month end expense accruals.

• Collaborate cross functionally to implement enhancements to current capital approval process, reporting, and measurement.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Required Experience

Five years accounting and/or finance experience. PC experience including Microsoft products and advanced spreadsheet abilities. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and have led leadership financial results driven meetings with proven success.

Preferred Experience

Ability to create financial cost/benefit models, prior healthcare, and Public accounting experience preferred. Project or business case creation and measurement would be ideal.
