Position Description

Responsibilities will include: monitoring cash balances, assessment of working capital performance, main point of contact for our banking partners and supporting related investment reporting, preparing and initiating wires, forecasting future cash needs, overseeing account administration and reviewing and implementing improvement in cash management, and ensuring financial obligations are met by the organization. In addition, this position will work closely with various functional areas - including; Accounting, AP, AR, Legal, UCare's financial and investment institutions, and external auditors.

• Lead the operational aspects of cash management and systems involving the management of cash resources. Cash management includes daily cash positioning, monitoring the supply and movement of cash, reconciling bank fees, and ensuring accurate maintenance of bank accounts.

• Responsible for continuous improvement of the treasury operation process, including system optimization and process automation.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls around cash transfers, bank documentation, bank online access, etc.

• Build and maintain cash and debt forecasts, analyze variances and work with finance functions to improve forecasting and liquidity planning

• Create the monthly cash flow statement.

• Assist the Accounting Team during month-end close.

• Assists in the development and maintenance of treasury policies, procedures, operational controls and standards associated with the entire Treasury function.

• Collaborate cross functionally to implement enhancements to current capital approval process, reporting, and measurement.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.


A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field (CTP, CPA or MBA a plus).

Required Experience

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in banking industry to assist with terminology and preferred business practices. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and have led leadership financial results driven meetings with proven success.
