For the Segmentation Analyst role, we are seeking an individual who has a passion for understanding consumer behavior, a curious mindset and an interest in and openness to learning about data and analytics. You will be responsible for executing and interpreting guest segmentation schemes, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data, focusing on consumer & guest attitudes, usage, demographics, behaviors and trends. You will support existing Target guest segmentation frameworks, data and insights from CRM databases and mining of existing research and syndicated sources. You will develop partnerships with teams across the organization on segmentation business questions to provide data, insights and consultation. Someone with a track record of delivering high-quality work amidst the dynamic pace inherent in retail will be a great fit in this role.

About you:
  • Four year degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in consumer insights, shopper insights, market research, competitive intelligence, marketing, or analytics
  • Interest and experience working with data and strong analytical skills
  • Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong collaborator who can effectively partner and communicate across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate findings from data and research to focus on the critical issues
