This position is responsible for leading the care center team in developing a thorough, comprehensive pressure injury management system.
  • Assess wounds, determine treatment needs and treatment plans.
  • Teach and educate all staff in pressure injury prevention, wound assessments and treatments.
  • Conduct regular multi-disciplinary rounds with case management and care teams.
  • Coordinate any special patient needs with therapy and nutrition.
  • Act as a liaison and educator for families prior to patient discharge to promote wellness and healing.
  • Develop systems and tracking methodologies to prevent, manage and improve overall wound care within the facility.
  • Act as project manager and educator for Care Choice PIPP grant.
  • Reports to the Administrator regarding PIPP Grant management and implementation.


Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

Prefer 3-5 years experience in wound care; leading wound rounds; educating staff in the area of wound care.
