Responsible for creating and coordinating the sales of RLC products to dealers in direct markets and distributor’s in non-direct markets.


Achieves assigned sales objectives (monthly, quarterly & annual) for RLC products with responsibility toward category DPC.

Manages RLC direct dealer orders:

  • Utilizes all systems and tools including but not limited to: SAP, OMS, SalesForce, Booking, Warranty, SharePoint

  • Receive credit approval on all dealer orders from Red Iron Acceptance (RIA)

  • Processes credit/debit equipment adjustments for assigned territory under departmental guidelines

Assists Distributor Territory Manager (TM) with:

  • The daily release of orders in SAP to achieve sales results and meet dealer expectations

  • Cultivating new orders with existing dealers

  • Facilitating product transfers of field product between dealers based on demand

  • Conducting dealer portal training and guidance

  • Completing new dealer on-boarding

Communicates daily via telephone and email with assigned RLC dealers to:

  • Sell RLC products

  • Coordinate dealer shipments

  • Develop long-term relationships

  • Share current marketing program information and offers

  • Gain and share field marketing intelligence on a timely basis

Works with Toro Regional Sales Managers in the development of Distributor field sales personnel pertaining to sales of RLC products

Provides insight to Marketing and Management regarding RLC product forecasting, supply needs & inventory management.

Respond to dealer inquiries (personally or by referral within Toro) regarding:

Ordering Credit Concerns Shipping

Shipment Tracing Floor Plan Accounts Product Location

Spare Parts Equipment Transfers Programming

New Dealer Inquiry Advertising Prospective Dealer Inquiry

Proactively alerts marketing, engineering and manufacturing on all product quality concerns

Performs other related duties as required by Toro management


  • Responsible for sales efforts and related tasks for assigned geographical areas.


  • Individual must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Prior experience in a customer service atmosphere involving telephone sales is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of SAP Systems, OMS, DIS, SalesForce, Outlook, Excel, Word, Internet applications
