As a Sr. Professional Procurement Services - Contractor Management, you will be accountable for the sourcing and onboarding of contractors, consultants, and professional services (contingent workers) to Stores, Distribution Centers, and HQ locations, while managing the balance between highly specialized skills and costs. Working cross-functionally, you'll participate and lead project teams to ensure professional service needs are identified, planned and delivered in a timely, cost effective and high-quality manner. You will lead process optimization and associated change management exercises that are focused on evolving current business processes for contingent labor. Leveraging Target's designated procurement tool for professional services, you'll manage contractor and consultant assignments and develop plans for continuous improvement with internal partner and supplier input. Using your skills and experiences, you will review and negotiate contract documents to identify opportunities and determine effective ways to mitigate risks. You'll generate and analyze data derived from Target's systems to highlight trends and make recommendations for future process enhancements. In this role, understanding operational requirements of business partners and acting as a trusted advisor and liaison with vendors to solve problems is key. Working closely with suppliers, you will effectively manage supplier relationships to drive value and ensure alignment with Target's goals. About you:
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of relevant work experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with partners
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public speaking and making presentations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• MBA or Advanced Degree in related field preferred
