Constituent Services Specialist—Hmong Language

DFL Caucus

Full-time Constituent Services Specialist/Writer position in the DFL Caucus of the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Responsibilities include casework, research and writing services for the DFL members of the Minnesota House of Representatives with primary focus on Hmong constituencies and translation.

Proven writing and organizational abilities required.  Knowledge of state government and the legislative process desired.  Frequent public contact necessary.  Good communications, customer service, and human relations skills a must.  PC experience/knowledge of Microsoft Word helpful.  Must have the ability to work long and irregular hours.  BA or BS desired. Hmong language proficiency, including in writing and translating strongly preferred.

Entry salary: $1,956.92 semi-monthly, commensurate with experience.  Excellent benefits.
