Job Description Job Summary: Responsible for the strategic development and execution of marketing communication efforts, public relations and advertising efforts for Mystic Lake Casino Hotel and Little Six Casino. Leads the development of marketing campaigns and programs across owned and paid marketing channels for the brand such as social, search, web, app, email, digital display, OOH, broadcast, streaming, endorsements, influencers and other emerging channels. Works in close collaboration with key department stakeholders across the organization to manage their communication needs, marketing programs and PR initiatives in a consultancy and client relationship capacity. This includes spearheading both traditional and digital projects with support from the digital and creative teams. This role will manage a high level of client interaction as well as managing and mentoring members of the account services team. Days Monday - Friday Hiring Rate or Hiring Range 1. Based on Qualifications Requirements Primary Duties and Occasional Tasks:
  • Manages the media and marketing account teams while providing leadership, guidance, training and development.
  • Plans, manages, and oversees the implementation of marketing communication programs for the brand and various departments of the organization including gaming, property amenities, entertainment, events, food and beverage, gaming, loyalty, talent acquisition and more. Responsible for thinking strategically about marketing and PR messaging, value perceptions and guest experience.
  • Manages multiple communication projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadlines are met while providing strategy and partner input. Adapt seamlessly to evolving client requests.
  • Leads the development and implementation of on-brand enterprise communication and activations across brand, strategic partnerships, sponsorships and internal engagements.
  • Build relationships with various department leaders, stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
  • Leads the media team and sets the strategy for creating engaging, brand-right social media content across our social channels, while charting the strategy for community management and digital engagement. Supports issues management, monitoring and social crisis communications.
  • Develops guest-centric, culturally relevant marketing strategies and media plans that build the brands and deliver on business goals. Leads the development of brand marketing campaigns and programs across owned and paid marketing channels such as social, web, app, email, PR, digital display, OOH, broadcast, streaming, endorsements, influencers and other emerging channels.
  • Establish KPIs and other success metrics to effectively perform analysis of marketing campaigns.
  • Apply market research and development methods to account for emerging trends.
  • Oversee competitor presence/perceptions, plus overall brand sentiment.
  • Collaborates with internal marketing teams to optimize and execute strategies developed in context of channel best practices based off of KPIs.
  • Identify the training and development needs of team members and provide opportunities which enable them to reach their full potential.
  Job Requirements: Reflects MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the expectations of this job:
  • Combination of post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field and experience in brand marketing to equal eight years.
    6+ years of experience in agency account management or in-house marketing communications experience.
  • Minimum of two years' supervisory experience.
  • Successful portfolio of work that you're associated with.
  • Previous experience in the development and implementation of marketing campaign planning and strategies within PR or advertising, and a strong familiarity with marketing best practices.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends and present key findings (quantitative and analytic skills) and then apply to future programs.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to work across different audiences, personalities and experience levels.
  • Creative, responsible, high-energy, eager to work with other departments to support their marketing needs.
  • Passion for attracting, retaining, engaging, and building talent.
  • Exceptional writing, communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills.
