Work Location: In the office, work-at-home or hybrid (in the office 3 or more days per week)

Position Description

This position is responsible to support key provider communication initiatives and projects including project management, editorial and technical coordination, and website content management for various business-related operations for third-party partner. Collaborate with other UCare departments and third-party partner to maximize efficiency, consistency, and accuracy in corporate communications with third-party partner's provider network.

• Manage collection of content and implement timely updates/distribution on provider website, provider portal, Provider Manual, and communication vehicles. Track analytics on usage as needed.

• Identify and redesign digital content to enhance provider engagement, experience, and satisfaction. Leverage digital assets and analytics to monitor and measure the business-to-business experience.

• Review content and edit provider communications to ensure they are clear, concise, and free of grammatical errors.

• Execute email campaigns and maintain email database. Implement initiatives to increase/enhance accounts enrolled in database.

• Assist with editorial and consulting duties with other departments on provider communications, bulletins and provider website content.

• Develop and maintain processes and plans to implement provider communications vehicles and services for future third-party partners.

• Identify opportunities to evolve the processes and/or tools used to support Provider Communications.

• Participate in various cross-departmental work groups and committees as assigned.

• Other duties and projects as assigned.


Bachelor's or advanced degree in communications-related field; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

Three years of communications or marketing experience, or demonstrated ability to effectively perform communication functions, preferably in a managed care organization, health delivery setting, such as physician group practice, hospital, health insurance, or community service agency.

Preferred Experience

Experience with health plan/provider communication/marketing issues. Project management, editing, website copywriting, media relations and health care experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel and website content management systems.
