SENIOR MARKETING ANALYST

Work Location: In the office or hybrid (in the office 3 or more days per week)

Position Description

This position is responsible for business-critical market research and provides strategic counsel and support for all UCare market and customer research related activities, including brand awareness, marketing acquisition, member experience, and competitive intelligence. Shape brand and go-to-market campaigns by providing definitive, data-driven insights in the competitive landscape for UCare products. Manage net promotor score measurement dashboard, consulting with business partners on market research opportunities, and synthesizing and presenting key findings to stakeholders. Analyze marketing ROI from multiple data sources (e.g., CRM, CallRail, Google Analytics, Zipari), analyze competitor data and trends, and write product demographic and enrollment trend reports. Present reports to matrix teams, leaders, and business partners to facilitate data-driven decision making.

• Identify risks and opportunities for meeting the projected enrollment goals. Report results to strategic committees as well as the UCare Board, Marketing matrix teams, and Product teams

• Manage all aspects of measuring net promotor score to meet UCare strategic priority. Collaborate with the Member Experience steering committee and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

• Initiate and implement new analyses and reports to support strategic partner relationships. Collaborate with teams to identify informational needs; develop understanding of UCare products, provider services, locations, competitors, etc.; determine most suitable data and methodologies; create report data; provide context and high-level analysis.

• Collaborate in the development of reporting and analytics to support Marketing, Product, Member, and Provider Experience teams on efforts related to marketing acquisition and member experience. Meet with business owners to identify requirements. Manage timelines and accountabilities for key deliverables. Monitor the progress of research projects to ensure data is being collected in a timely and consistent manner.

• Lead projects of moderate scope and complexity. Review and apply specifications and regulatory guidance; identify and prioritize project deliverables; design and execute project plans; communicate with internal and external parties regarding issues, barriers, and ongoing status.

• Develop and maintain high level expertise in the use of UCare's Business Intelligence tools, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, MarketView, CRM, Google Analytics, and other reporting software solutions.

• Develop reporting specifications to summarize results, findings, and any issues for management. Create presentations and other reports, present to large groups and executive leadership, and respond to questions.

• Design, create, and maintain complex reports suitable for external audiences. Understand end user needs; determine most suitable data and methodologies; create report data; provide context and high-level analysis.

• Track and report ucare.org and other websites using Google Analytics to help prioritize digital strategy initiatives. Create reports used to benchmark success of marketing and sales efforts.

• Use CRM to report sales and marketing trends. Develop dashboards for tracking advertising campaigns and report findings to stakeholders. Use CRM data to track and report on UCare's marketing and sales ROI.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of data structure within UCare's internal data systems, including membership, enrollment, claims, providers, and product lines.

• Oversee day to day vendor relationship including modifying required data, work with the IT department, and develop core reporting to share key metrics with internal stakeholders.

• Respond to ad hoc requests for data analysis or research on UCare's members, competitors and/or the health insurance market. Determine resources, analyze findings, and present results.

• Provide day-today work direction along with coaching and mentoring to contingent staff.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field required.

Required Experience

Five years of experience in a product or service-based organization with product/market responsibilities. Experience should include working on market research projects; data gathering and analyzing; and developing and presenting reports to synthesize key findings and recommendations.

Preferred Experience

Five years' experience in health care/managed care organization and with matrix teams.
