Allina Health System is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician at our facility in Faribault, MN. The Family Medicine Physician provides direct medical care within the outpatient clinic and works directly with patients to improve their health and well-being. The Family Medicine Physician position is a 100% outpatient-based practiced, and obstetrics is not required. This position requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree, or foreign equivalent from an accredited medical school plus 36 months of experience in Family Medicine, which may have been gained during a physician residency program. Must have at least 36 months of experience with each of the following: (1) adult chronic care (2) management of anxiety, depression, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; and (3) women’s health care, including administration of long-acting reversible contraceptives. Must also have experience in providing care to medically indigent and underserved patients and HIV patients, including lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender health and prescribing and monitoring pre-exposure prophylaxis. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Requires a current, unrestricted Minnesota medical license. Must be Board certified in Family Medicine.
