The City of Champlin is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Associate Planner. We encourage those with initiative, creativity and attention to detail to apply.  Responsibilities include coordinating planning activities, data collection/analysis, report writing and presenting and development review.  Candidates should have strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and desire to work in a collaborative and energetic team environment. The Associate Planner will report to the Community Development Director.

Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Public Administration or related field and one year of municipal experience in planning.

Preferred qualifications:  Graduate degree in Planning, Public Administration or related field, two or more years of local government experience in planning and AICP certification.

Salary range: $71,002.26 - $88,752.98 DOQ, plus excellent benefits.
