St. Catherine University invites applications for an Admission Counselor position in the Office of Admission in the College for Women. This is a full-time, regular position.

The Admission Counselor will represent the university to prospective students and their families and actively recruit students to enroll in the College for Women.

Responsibilities:
  • Counsel and advise prospective students and their families about admission to the College for Women.
  • Review admission applications and conduct interviews.
  • Cultivate a geographic territory through visiting high schools, attending college fairs, and calling to respond to inquiries and connect with applicants.
  • Counsel and advise prospective students and their families about costs and financial aid.
  • Assist with coordination of campus visit programs, including New Student Registration programs, Junior Visit Day, Spring Spotlight and others.
  • Host small group visits for first year inquiries.
  • Act as liaison to partners across campus to coordinate recruitment efforts with those departments.
  • Communicate respectfully and build relationships of trust with people of all cultures and abilities, affirming the worth and preserving the dignity of individuals, families, and communities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Current and valid driver's license with an approved driving record.
  • Ability to plan and conduct small and large group presentations/programs.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in admission, college advising, college counseling, financial literacy or financial education. This includes experience in counseling high school students on college preparation and affordability.
  • Experience in Slate, Customer Relationship Management ( CRM ) system.
