A role in Global Logistics, Inventory Allocation and Replenishment means you'll focus on the efficient transportation of product around the world. Here, you'll be challenged to pivot seamlessly from sales operations and planning, to ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, to achieving the best possible product availability through proper inventory positioning. You'll establish and develop great relationships with our vendors to encourage on-time shipment and delivery to stores and ultimately, guests. And you'll analyze transportation supplier capabilities and contracts for maximum speed, reliability and cost effectiveness.

As a Market Logistics Leader, you'll be responsible for transportation operations within a specific region in the United States, engaging with up to 12 different third party providers to drive consistent outbound to store delivery performance. You'll identify opportunities for efficiency and lead a strong safety culture by addressing safety trends through process improvement and ensuring clear expectations are set and met. You'll oversee multiple DC facilities servicing between 200-300 stores and delivering approximately 50,000 loads outbound to Target's store network. You'll collaborate with Group Operations Directors, Carrier Partners and Headquarters and Field leaders to ensure a high level of service, maximize efficiency and serve as a change agent to champion continuous improvement and do what is best for the guest.

About you:
• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Creative approach to problem solving
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Transportation management experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fully remote w/travel up to 30%

• Ability to manage teams remotely
• Strong negotiator and influencer
• Background in retail or transportation
