Senior Engineer

Target Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Engineer at our offices in Brooklyn Park, MN. The Senior Engineer is responsible for developing, creating, and modifying software applications. This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field plus three (3) years of related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field plus 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) working with re-engineering legacy applications to a modern technology stack including Typescript, Angular and MongoDB using innovative and modular architectural designs; (2) architecting, implementing, and maintaining applications using object-oriented programming paradigms and design patterns; (3) working with large scale databases to store, retrieve, and manipulate data efficiently and securely; (4) developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation; and (5) utilizing the following software tools and technologies: C#, C, Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, MongoDB, NGINX, Shell script, Ant, Gradle, GIT, SVN, and Agile Methodologies. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master's program. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance to a Minneapolis-area Target office, as directed.
