Life Enrichment/Programs Manager
The life enrichment manager is a leadership position and is responsible for recruiting, training, and guiding Life Enrichment associates during campus programs. Overall supervision and participation in all planned social, educational, leisure, exercise, and on/off campus activities are a necessary part of this role.
Responsibilities: Works closely with staff to develop, design, and implement activities that guarantee that residents live fully & live well. Meets weekly with assigned associates to create monthly calendars for whole house programs. Attends monthly resident programs committee meetings to insure we are meeting their needs. Works closely with Resident Services Director to develop outside resources for idea exchanges to enhance resident experience at Villa St. Benedict.
Creates and maintains monthly schedules, performs payroll approvals, and performance reviews for LE staff. Handles and stays within budget guidelines for purchasing supplies, hiring entertainers, and other related expenses.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Previous work experience as a supervisor/manager
Microsoft Office proficiency
Valid state driver's license
Experience in senior housing/healthcare industry
The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for meeting the social and therapeutic needs of the residents through activities, wellness interventions, leisure programming, and continued interaction with community groups.
Completes the wellness assigned portion of the assessment process. Provides relevant daily events and programming to meet the needs of the residents.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class B or C driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong desire to work with the elderly.
- In good standing on the State Nursing Assistant Registry.
- CPR certified.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience in long term care.
