Work Location: Work from home, in the office or hybrid (in the office 3 or more days per week)

Position Description

This position is responsible to support the Vendor Payment Solutions Product Owner to facilitate the comprehensive oversight of Optum CES/PPS products and updates. Responsible for the intake, coordination support, communication, and timely implementation of all routine and customized requests. Develop and maintain tracking and process documentation. Monitor and report on vendor managed services team activities and deliverables.

• Coordinate all CES/PPS file loads and updates with the AMS teams and internal stakeholders.

• Create necessary Change Requests and Service Now Requests and supply required documentation.

• Coordinate with IT on ticket submission for HealthRules updates.

• Create visibility and transparency of Vendor Payment Solutions Product Owner Team's work for partnering technical team's awareness.

• Coordinate key project activities. Drive project efforts and facilitate project-related meetings. Partner and communicate with upstream and downstream stakeholders to ensure seamless and predictable outcomes.

• Develop and maintain documents and/or Visual Task Boards for all CES/PPS updates and changes being implemented.

• Coordinate issue management, develop and maintain tracking grids and documents.

• Intake and analyze work requests. Identify and track trends. Report results to Vendor Payment Solutions Product Owner.

• Identify and recommend process improvements.

• Develop reports and dashboards that effectively communicate service level performance of both internal and delegated functions.

• Other duties as assigned.


High School diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience

Three years of healthcare industry experience. Proven written and verbal communication skills. Meeting management skills.

Preferred Experience

Vendor and/or delegate relationship management experience. Experience with Optum Pricers, Optum CES, and HealthRules Claim Platform. Experience with healthcare payer operations (Claims, Customer Service, and/or Billing).

Business process documentation and improvement expertise. Experience with service level reporting and dashboards.
