As a Visual Communications Manager, you are responsible for continued development, process management and implementation at a multi-division level for the Visual Communication content and creation. Ensure seamless workstreams between the Visual Merchandising team, HQ cross-functional partners, Store Operations and Field organization. Collaborate with cross-functional partners on the development of and adherence to visual presentation standards through communication. Manage the delivery of visual merchandising tools - general standards, seasonal content and business required adjustments. Managing all aspects of the Visual Communications process, inclusive of all communication to the field and hands-on training in the field. Attend Division strategy and key milestone meetings for full view of all merchandising and seasonal concepts to ensure effective communication concepts to the field.

Core responsibilities for the Visual Communications Manager will include, but not be limited to, lead concept approach of Visual Communication, training and contingency planning for multi-division areas as assigned, ensuring complete and accurate visual merchandising / styling content is communicated. Interface with cross-functional partners and collaborate with multiple levels of management and department while managing the coordination of in-store marketing information into Visual Communication to create an end-to-end execution practice in stores. Support the development of technology and training to support the visual capability and further Store communication. Identify and participate in training and development opportunities designed to improve professional skills and growth. And travel to review in-store execution and identify opportunities, as necessary.

About you:

  • 4-year degree in Visual Merchandising/Communication, Art, Design, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of Visual Merchandising, Home category expertise preferred.
  • Corporate headquarters Visual Operations/Communication experience preferred.
  • Proven visual communication skillset (in addition to interviews, external candidates will be required to submit a portfolio to review).
  • Excellent communicator with presentation, project management and organization skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Sketchup, SmartSheet, OneNote.
  • Maintains a competitive edge on technology for visual communication.
  • Cultural awareness, competitive analysis, and knowledge/understanding of current trends.
