Working within Pricing and Promotions Center of Excellence (PPCOE) - Promo Operations, your mission is to support the successful execution of Target's promotion strategy, through issue resolution, prevention and process optimization efforts. As a member of Promo Operations, you will work closely with our core users in Merchandising and our support partners to effectively research and resolve offer issues with the goal of providing the best possible guest experience.

As the Promo Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving promo processes and support best methods. Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving escalated promo issues. This role supports the PPCOE team and all merchants in the execution of promotional offers. Additional duties and responsibilities include:
• Conducting analysis of all promo processes, identifying areas of friction and improvement. Working with total team to implement changes.
• Consulting users on best methods for offer setup or issue prevention.
• Provide promo support during key promotional times of the year, ie: Peak season, Easter, Back to School.
• Support all users (Price & Promo team and merchants) in resolving executional promo issues with the goal of reducing or eliminating financial impact and/or guest impact.
• Communicate weekly promo execution KPI's for the entire user base.
• Provide Product partners with data and insights into areas of improvement and friction points in promo execution. Goal is to either improve through automation or through improved processes.
• Point of escalation for all locked out or live promo issues that cannot be resolved by the 1st level support partners.

About you:
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 0-3 years' experience in an operations management team and/or support team; ideally of a large retail capability or CPG environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with business partners
• Strong trouble shooting, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Process management skills preferred
• Experience supporting promotions through issue prevention or issue resolution preferred
• Experience with business process management principles preferred
• Experience with legacy or new promotional tools preferred
