Job Details Description
Job Summary: Responsible for managing the North American Sales Team and expanding aftermarket sales in North America. This position will develop, grow and retain a positive Aftermarket Sales Team throughout North America and Canada.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain constant improvement and growth within the sales department
- Responsible for setting up training and engaging in support, feedback, motivation and interactions with Sales Team
- Knowledge in Target Markets (Mining, Oil/Gas, Construction)
- Plan sales budget and work with aftermarket sales reps to develop their territory’s budgets
- and marketing strategies
- Develop annual goals and objectives for sales department
- Complete performance, salary and bonus reviews for sales team
- Review trip reports and itineraries, monthly quotes and reports, and expense accounts
- Review weekly and monthly sales reports before distribution
- Travel with sales team members on a periodic basis
- Maintain weekly contact with all sales staff
- Attend monthly New Product Committee meetings
- Be present at monthly manager meetings as requested by President
- Report monthly Aftermarket sales statistics accurately & promptly to management and complete monthly manager reports
- Complete monthly reports and update President regularly
- Coordinate with OEM Sales Mgr. on the following;
- Schedule, organize, and distribute marketing literature and demonstrate consistent execution of the Sales & Marketing Plan using various methods to include social media and platforms
- Plan, Schedule and Organize trade shows
- Marketing and advertising strategies and budgets
- Plan and organize all sales meetings with sales assistant
- Conduct monthly teleconference with all sales staff
- Assists with training and mentoring new hires
- Perform work in a safe manner and follow all safety guidelines/procedures
- Perform related work and other duties as assigned by President or other management staff as directed
- Domestic and international travel required and could include weekend travel depending on the project
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required for Entry Level:
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, in English, in both written and verbal means
- Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and CRM/ERP systems
- Perform calculations with accuracy and reasonable speed
- Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities
- Comfortable with public speaking and giving presentations in front of small and large groups
- Use of electronic devices, communication tools, and knowledge of smart phones
- Work independently and with internal and external teams
- Ability to pass a pre-employment DMV screen, physical, drug/alcohol and background test
Minimum Qualifications for Application:
- High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of territorial or regional high-volume sales and account management experience
- Mechanical and technical aptitude
- 75% travel required
- General manufacturing knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s year degree in Business Mgmt. with 5 years of territorial or regional high-volume sales and account management experience
- Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing
- MSHA Certification
Qualifications Education Required
HS Diploma or GED or better.
Preferred
Bachelors or better in Business Administration.
Experience Required
5 years: Industrial or Technical Sales, primarily in mining, oil or gas industries

Driver's License
