Test Lab Specialist III

Supports the Product Development (PD), Manufacturing, Production, and Customer Service (CS) Core Process Objectives.
Conduct product qualification testing and interface with engineering for analysis and problem correction.
Performs daily production audits and tracks failures.
Develops test procedures for hardware validation.
Coordinates the maintenance and calibration program of Test Lab equipment.
Performs other required duties as needed in addition to the essential duties and responsibilities described above.
Assist in developing and executing test plans and test cases for products in development. Planning and implementation from initial conception through completion.
Support in the development of test methods and test procedures utilizing current equipment or new equipment for product qualifications.
Minimum Two-year technical degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or Equivalent. Bachelor of Science Degree desired.
1-3 years-engineering laboratory testing experience using sophisticated electronic instruments.
Understanding of current guidelines required by Underwriter's Laboratory (UL), International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
Strong working knowledge of electronic test instruments (i.e., Digital Scope, Data Logger, Programmable Power Supply, Data Acquisition System, High Voltage/Current Lightning Surge Generator).
Ability to use environmental burn-in chambers.
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
