SUMMARY:

The Process Improvement and Data Analytics Team aims to deliver a high level of value for Data Recognition Corporation (DRC) by leveraging various process improvement methodologies, agile principles, data analytics, and change management techniques to resolve complex business problems throughout the organization. 

 

In service to our business partners, the Process Improvement Consultant champions continual learning, enhancements, innovation and provides expert thought leadership, activity coordination, and road mapping for critical transformational projects. The Process Improvement Consultant also works across the business to lead teams in problem-solving sessions, to brainstorm & prioritize ideas, assist business teams to create project plans and provide training on essential continuous improvement & technical skills.

 

This position reports to the head of Process Improvement and Data Analytics and will partner with executive leadership and business teams to support long-term strategic objectives and near-term performance stability in support of and alignment with DRC’s strategy.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic leadership to drive Continuous Improvement and Transformation across the IT division and select key divisional projects across the Company. 
  • Develop and execute complex analyses that directly lead to comprehensive, actionable, and measurable data-driven recommendations.
  • Influence stakeholders throughout the value stream, including customers, executives, and business units, to collaboratively achieve improvements across all divisions in the Company.
  • Leverage proven process improvement methodologies and change management practices to support complex project/initiative objectives.
  • Collaborate with business partners to create and build Business Process Improvement roadmaps for transformational projects across the enterprise.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand existing business processes and provide guidance on selecting the best path forward to improve or automate them.
  • Develop others on process improvement methods, tools, and processes to achieve results aligned with DRCs strategic objectives and values.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and business partners to craft clear key messaging for internal and external stakeholders on projects and key initiatives.
  • Experience communicating to a diverse audience and implementing content strategy for a variety of teams.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree / 4 year degree (BA, BS).
  • 5+ years strong process improvement/program management skills and experience.
  • Extensive experience with identifying opportunities, strategies, approaches, and improvement execution within IT and Operations.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving business performance through the deployment of continuous improvement practices across multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to influence, create connections, drive standards, communicate and work across multiple departments and all levels of the organization.
  • Extensive experience with initiating and managing projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  •  

    Preferred Experience (nice to have, not required):

  • EdTech industry experience is desired but not required.
  • Professional certification and/or Master's degree preferred.
  •  

    ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Atlassian, Google suite, and applicable data analytics tools.
  • Relate effectively and work respectfully with diverse workgroups.
  • Ability to consistently perform well during times of increased workload.
  • Set and meet deadlines.
  • Manage multiple job functions simultaneously.
