We have an opening for a Senior Security Analyst.

Join our more than 750 dedicated employees! For this role, we require a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT security or equivalent. Must have knowledge of IT security, compliance, system life cycles and computer technologies.

Qualified applicant should be familiar with threat vectors, surface attack areas and associated methods performed in external and internal attacks on existing or new vulnerabilities and familiar with forensic analysis of computer and network systems. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, diagnostic, and project management skills are required. Must have detailed technical knowledge of the NERC CIP compliance requirements and be effective at contributing towards the objectives of a team, sharing knowledge, ideas, and information.

Responsibilities

Develop IT policies and procedures to support company information governance. Assist with the development and implementation of the Information Technology Security policies and practices. Develop and communicate compliance and security related policies and procedures. Recommend and implement improvements in communication and monitoring of compliance standards. Oversee development of standards, operating and testing procedures to ensure the security, reliability, and availability of the CIP systems. Shall coordinate compliance of PCI requirements as needed. Monitor system availability and report defined metrics to ensure security and compliance effectiveness. Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress.

This position to report to a reasonable location within Otter Tail Power Company Service Territory.
