As a Director, Creative Strategy, you'll lead the strategic direction of creative strategy to transform marketing strategies into immersive experiences that help our guests connect more deeply with the brand. We'll support you along the way with robust onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a Director, Creative Strategy. In this role, you will:
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of talented Creative Strategists, including inspiring the team to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance.
  • Strengthen the capability of creative strategy within Target Creative, including evolving the briefing process and creative brief, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and innovating new ways to inspire creative teams.
  • Use marketing, brand and cultural insights to generate creative solutions across media types and platforms to solve business challenges.
  • Build and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaboration across the organization internally and externally to incorporate perspectives, facilitate change and ensure sound strategic recommendations.

  • Experienced creative strategist leader; someone who enables unique and unexpected insights to fuel big ideas and innovation.
  • Extremely strong leadership experience, including direct team leadership and a passion for team development
  • Ability to navigate and influence across a large matrixed organization
  • Ability to champion and advocate for change

About you:
  • Four year college degree
  • 15+ years experience in Strategy, Account Management, or Brand/Marketing Planning
  • Experience with multicultural strategy or media that demonstrate an inclusive perspective
  • Agency-side and/or client-side experience leading creative teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop people, provide meaningful feedback and manage performance
  • Demonstrated effectiveness developing relationships and influencing senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with experience synthesizing information to generate actionable insights
  • Strong communication skills
