Beyond our world-class service centers, there are many important challenges to be met in other FRS teams. Payments and Financial Operations strategically curate and enable payment acceptance for Target, working with internal and external partners to envision and advocate for the future, manage payment expense, proactively prevent fraud and manage the accounting and controls for FRS. FRS Operations and Product Team plays at the intersections of process and technology, and Service Center Shared Operations (SCSO) which develops comprehensive service delivery strategies for our service centers. FRS Product Design manages and grows loyalty, frequency and other marketing programs for all Payment Cards (RedCard, GiftCard). The Credit Strategy and Compliance team manages the credit card program and related interactions with our bank partner, and includes the Credit Strategy, Credit Risk Underwriting and Compliance functions.

As a Sr. Process Consultant, your primary duties will be to develop and implement process documentation and governance procedures related to Payment & RedCard. You will be responsible for successfully partnering with and leading teams to define key processes, guide teams through process discussions and scribe documentation. You will facilitate meetings and follow-up with key interface areas and initiate reporting and/or control processes to measure and sustain project success. You will work cross functionally with department leaders, support teams and partners to analyze, recommend and implement enhancements and innovations for improved efficiency and effectiveness. You will establish strong partner relationships between all areas of FRS, and other key pyramids to plan for initiatives and program changes that may impact existing Payment & RedCard processes and/or identify the need to build/document new procedures.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of process building and/or project management
  • Detail oriented, organized and efficient in work processes
  • Must be able to prioritize project intake and workflow backlog while managing multiple projects
  • Proven track record of verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable seeking complex information by asking questions and challenging the status quo
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to co-create with cross functional teams & partners
  • Deliver results by aligning stakeholders, managing expectations and meeting key milestones
  • Experience in an operational team with an understanding of compliance controls
