Otter Tail Power Company will be replacing our electric meter fleet with an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system consisting of smart meters and a Meter Data Management (MDM) computer system. This effort provides an opportunity for an individual to join our team as a Meter Data Management (MDM) Analyst in Fergus Falls, MN.

Post deployment, the role will oversee the MDM, manage system alerts, perform analysis on electric power data and produce reports for use by engineering, operations, and customer service. The role will be the MDM expert, will monitor the MDM and update MDM parameters to ensure it provides value added information to support our customer needs and our company objectives. This role will then provide guidance to others to resolve issues and improve performance.

We are seeking a person that has strong computer skills, is a self-starter and applies critical thinking. We prefer a candidate with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience in Metering Data Management (MDM) Systems and overall AMI systems, data analytics or a closely related field.
