As a Sr. Logistics Business Partner in the Food & Beverage team, you will be responsible for managing the Conversion analysis and communication with internal partners like Inventory Analysts, Merchants, Carrier Managers, Sourcing, etc. and with external vendor partners. You will own the decision of which vendor should be on-boarded in Target's We-Pay network. Responsibilities include leading a cross functional discussion with Merchant leaders across different divisions, providing data analysis to support the decision making and onboarding vendors into Target's network in partnership with internal teams. This position is responsible for owning and publishing weekly metrics and reports to partner teams and leadership. This role will analyze data, identify trends, problem solve and recommend strategies to identify right vendors to onboard in Targets network.

As a Sr. Logistics Business Partner, you will:
  • Write SQL queries to pull data, analyze it and build metrics in presentable format
  • Create reports using power query and publish metrics to senior leadership
  • Support adhoc metrics and data analysis requests from leadership to solve problems and perform root cause analysis
  • Partner with Operations Intelligence teams to automate metrics in Greenfield
  • Build strategy for Vendor Conversions and identify the right mode of transportation for each vendor in the Food and Beverage temperature controlled network
  • Perform analysis to gauge size of prize for the Conversions program
  • Data Analytics and Project Management
  • Partner with Merchants and IA's to onboard vendors into Target's network
  • Field questions from Vendor partners and educate new vendors on Target processes
  • Analyze data to root-cause complex supply chain problems; develop and implement solutions to support internal and external partners
  • Pull data and support carrier managers with data needs
  • Support carrier management operations as necessary during peak times

Key requirements:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Operational management experience
  • Strong abilities in data analytics and expertise in managing large data-sets in excel
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Data-driven approach to problem solving
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Can make decisions with little to no guidance from manager or other leaders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Supply Chain Planning or transportation


This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $62,500 to $112,500.
