A role in Global Inventory Management (GIM) means applying your specialized and well-informed point of view to what we buy, from whom, how much and where it needs to go from there. You'll use the right combination of data and expertise to achieve the best possible product availability through proper inventory positioning. You'll also focus on the efficient transportation of product around the world, while ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and achieving the best possible product availability through proper inventory positioning. You'll not only establish and develop great relationships with our vendors to encourage on-time shipment and delivery to stores and ultimately guests, but you'll also analyze transportation supplier capabilities and contracts for maximum speed, reliability and cost effectiveness.

As the Sr. Manager for the Company Events Team, you will be responsible for building, leading and developing a high performing, diverse, inclusive and engaged team. In this role you will manage a team of Sr. Inventory Operations Analysts to support Company Event initiatives including Transitions, Promotions, Brand Launches, Heritage Moments, PO Visibility & Tracking, and Crisis Response. You will collaborate with partners from across the organization inclusive of Sales & Operations Planning, Field Operations, Network Planning, Inventory Management, Merchandising, Planning, and Store Operations to manage & support each critical event in support of our stores and our guests. In addition, you'll lead the evolution of Company Events routines and processes through Legacy and Modern capabilities, ensuring our routines and processes balance today's current landscape in addition to future requirements to meet the needs of our guest.

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Build and develop a high performing, diverse, inclusive and engaged team.
  • Oversee the Transition team and processes to ensure best methods are being delivered upon and business objectives are being met.
  • Manage the Promotional process from an Inventory Management perspective and ensure total Promotional CFT alignment.
  • Ensure Inventory Management is setup for success within high priority Brand Launches & Heritage Moments through strong execution and adherence to Best Methods.
  • Manage PO Visibility and Tracking routines to ensure consistent visibility to product movement throughout our supply chain.
  • Lead business continuation planning & crisis response preparedness for Inventory Management, inclusive of COVID support, Hurricanes, and Wildfires.
  • Manage crisis response for Inventory Management to address critical business disruptions impacting product flow to stores & participate on the Corporate Command Center (C3) Green Team.

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years' relevant experience
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management fundamentals, systems, and practical applications
  • Flexibility & resiliency; comfortable working in 'grey areas' that are constantly changing
  • Ability to demonstrate courage, take risks and make decisions in a fast-paced complex environment
  • Strong ability to build partnerships and collaborate across the organization
  • Exceptional leadership experience - formal leadership or demonstrated CFT leadership
  • Strong supply chain problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication & analytical skills
  • Willing & able to work evenings & weekends as necessary to respond to crisis events
