As a Sr. Financial Analyst you will be responsible for supporting key reporting and analysis for Fulfillment Centers across the Supply Chain network. This includes analysis on current operations, future technology advancements, capital investments, annual goals, forecasts, and long range plans. You will be a trusted advisor across all of Supply Chain and Finance with respect to the investments and capabilities required to accelerate Target's growth and supply chain capabilities.
  • Determine financial implications of operational decisions and influence or support as necessary.
  • Influence spending decisions with enterprise analytics to ensure future increases/decrease in expense is valuable to the organization.
  • Perform key capital & expense investment analytics for new capabilities.
  • Use compelling facts and data to identify and address emerging performance trends.
  • Partner with both Finance, Supply Chain, and Digital teams to problem solve issues and educate on financial implications of decisions.
  • Support the senior leadership team as a strategic partner in long range planning, annual budget, and forecast goals.

About you:
  • 4 year or equivalent college degree
  • 4 - 6 years of experience working in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Finance
  • Ability to build strong relationships, work autonomously with senior leaders, and manage multiple relationships/clients across the organization
  • Capability to stay on top of multiple deadlines and execute processes during ambiguity
  • Eagerness to find ways to optimize processes, drive cost accountability, proactively take on broader ad hoc/initiative project work, and influence across core GSCL Finance team
  • Advanced Excel and or SQL knowledge - comfortability transforming large data sets into insights

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.
